What Jesus’ Ascension Guarantees

Jesus' ascension is His coronation as King, guaranteeing that God is accomplishing His plan, that the Spirit has been given as our Advocate, and that our atonement is fully secured. Because the risen Christ now reigns and intercedes in heaven, we go to the ends of the earth as Spirit-filled witnesses of the ascended, reigning Lord who will return one day soon to dwell with His people forever.
