Our Hope In The Living One

Advent is not sentimental season. It's the most realistic view of life because it acknowledges that though our world is dark, God has come to us in Jesus Christ. Revelation 1 gives us a vision of Jesus as the High Priest who is among His people, the King who reigns with unmatched power, and the Judge who knows and sees all. Advent reminds us that God's people can have true hope as we patiently endure in a broken world because the One who came into our world is the Living One, who is both Savior and reigning Lord.
