The Shepherds of Gods Flock

1 Peter 5 reveals the biblical model, motivation, and manner of elders in Christ’s church. God gifts and calls men to shepherd His flock as they lead by example, not for gain or position, but out of love for God’s people. Ultimately, biblical elders reflect the heart of the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life to bring His flock safely home.
